How do you really know?

So you think you think you think. Then you think it might be God talking to you. Maybe it is something different than what you thought you thought. Maybe you think you thought wrong. How do you really know when God doesn't seem to provide actual burning bushes anymore, or have the ground open up and eat people, or part the red sea in front of you so you know it has to be him. If anyone can tell me that, please post to this so that I can be sure that I really know.

Thanks.

You know because you KNOW. You are having self doubt. Stop. Just stop. Pray. Keep the enemy at bay. Too many coincidences in the past month for you to not know now. Ask him for a confirmation if you need more reassurance. Too much time has lapsed since we've all been together and this is what happens.

Continue to humbly submit to God's call. He will answer you by opening doors that he wants you to go through. He will close the other doors. And my guess is that He will remain silent at times so that you seek him whole heartedly and relentlessly because you feel such a NEED for His guidance. He has you right where He wants you. . . on your knees begging for His direction. He'll answer.

Remember to be still and patient for sometimes He does not always come to call when you want but at the times when you least expect His call will be one louder than what you imagined it to be.
Remember One.More.Move.

1 Samuel 3

8And the LORD called Samuel again the third time. And he arose and went to Eli and said, "Here I am, for you called me." Then Eli perceived that the LORD was calling the young man. 9Therefore Eli said to Samuel, "Go, lie down, and if he calls you, you shall say, 'Speak, LORD, for your servant hears.'" So Samuel went and lay down in his place.

you know for sure when he comes to you and says: "hi there, this is god, and i've got some things to tell you." at least that's how it works for me. not for you?
